| For 28 years, lee has manufactured sterling, bronze, and copper jewelry pieces. Her new jewelry creation involves melting sterling pieces, then she fuses sterling pieces into necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pins with stones. Each is truly original because it is challenging to control how the sterling flows under the hot torch. It is also really FUN! She creates bronze and copper jewelry by melting bronze on the copper. Then, each piece is buffed to a shiny finish, leaving some of the oxidation (or red color) for contrast to the shiny copper. Playing with copper wire is fascinating, because so many great designs can be created with so little material. This is how she started making jewelry and the wire is still in her jewelry.
